most rainfall is an
event to be endured
something to run
through from A to B
this rainfall or rather
that rainfall began
as such and while
we ran engulfed
swallowed and
consumed deep
within the belly
of the beast joy
bubbled up and
through aggravation
sweetly inverted
masquerade made
manifest looking
back at that particular
precipitation i see not
a single drop of rain
my vision instead
clouded entirely
by your smile
